Should I install the latest version of WLM?

Dear All,

I am always unsure if I should be downloading and installing the latest version of WLM? I do not know of the new features and keep getting warning about getting the new version (Something that is quite annoying).

Any positive comments will be appreciated.

Regards,

Shiraz.

Eventually, the older versions will stop being supported and you will have no choice but to upgrade. As with any new version, there are new features, and new bugs. But all in all the version is stable.

You can read more about the version 9 features here or you could take a look at this video of the product in use. Both are from the Inside Live Messenger Blog.

Newer versions, while adding new features, also implement security changes to help minimize exploits in programs. It's generally advisable to keep your software up to date.
