Yahoo! Messenger 5.6 Beta Breaks Y!Tunnel
Jeff Hester The new Yahoo! Messenger 5.6 beta breaks some of the features of Y!Tunnel. Y!Tunnel will not officially support 5.6 until Chet gets a chance to review the changes and update his program. If you’re a Y!Tunnel user, think twice before installing the new Messenger beta. Once the beta has stabilized, Chet will release a beta version of Y!Tunnel Pro designed for compatibility with Yahoo! Messenger 5.6. Y!Tunnel Basic users will unfortunately not have a beta program, but will have to wait until after the Pro version is officially released (one of the perks of being a paying customer).
