Yahoo! Terminates Java Chat Client

If you were a frequent Java Chat user (I know I was at one time) you just signed in with your username and password and now are patiently expecting the familiar HTML based Yahoo! Chat page to load. But to your amazement, this is not the page you are used to seeing. Instead you are greeted with a notice, upon further inspection you see in big black letters; END OF JAVA-BASED CHATTING.
