Where can I get custom Emotes for chat?

Hey guys, I have been looking everywhere for smoe new emotes to use in chat. Last night, I was told to go to http://home.attbi.com/~vagabond35/Messenger/index.html From there, click on the gender specific emotes, then highlight the whole page, and click copy. Then go into your program files under messenger, open emotes with notepad, scroll down to the bottom, then click paste, and save. Close out chat and go back on and you should have new emotes. Only drawback is now in your emotes, you have a lot of useless writing that i can't figure out how to get rid of under the new emotes. The old emotes are still there but you have to look for them under all thatt useless writing. You may have to repeat the process 2 times like i did to get them to work. So if anyone knows any more sites where I can download more, please let me know. Thanks.

Yes, I have the same question.
I have downloaded them, opened winzip, and unzipped them, but I dont know how to open them. Everytime I have the option to open em, it wants me to unzip em again, and again etc... BlAh. wth is going on?

Alright, I see Fanatic needs to step in and clear things up...

Here's how you use the emote file listed above:

Click to download. If you're running IE, choose the "Open" option show here:

This will open the WinZip self-extractor. If you've installed Yahoo Messenger to the default directory (under C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger), then all you have to do is click "unzip."

Now the emotes are installed. To use emotes, you must be in a Yahoo chat room (they aren't available in IM). Here is the emote button:

Once you click this, you'll see the emote list appear as shown below.

It should now contain a much longer list of emotes, some of which include special symbols, colors, etc. Have fun! <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

I have got sumfin 2 say! I downloaded all the set of those wut v call "naughty smileys" n i mean all of dem. I m a decent guy oh yeah<img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>. i mean i dont use such smileys az i think they r more like abuze den smileys. I dont know wut to do. I want the full set of my new smileys n i mean "FULL". plz help me out i dont know how 2 get rid of these smileys<img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

If I understand you correctly, you want to replace the naughty smilies with the original, clean ones, right? Go here and follow their directions for downloading and installing the "normal" smilies:

Jeff i want to tell you that the link you have specified does not allow me to replace all of those naughty smileys... i mean half of dem but not da other halfn the naughty smileys which they provide r also half. so i visited the sit www.geocities.com/basfaces and downloaded all of the smileys n now i kant get rid of da other half. I m really worried. plz help
