I downloaded yahoo messenger on my desktop for my other desktop. Yahoo messenger, when I turn on my computer, pops up on my screen with a message that says, " Yahoo messenger can't connect. We were not able to log you into yahoo messenger." So, how can I get the yahoo message to not pop up on my screen, but still be able to use yahoo messenger on my other desktop?

Other Desktop??? that has me stumped.

But in answer to how you get Yahoo messenger to not pop up is. Go into your setting on it. When you have Yahoo Messenger connected click on the Login tab then click on Preferences then click on the General category and look at the 1st thing "When I start up my computer" and unmark "Automatically start Yahoo! Messenger" click Apply and then OK.
