oh, you are so gonna be unnpopular here. You can trace people's IP (to the city where their ISP/ISP Hub is) through http://www.visualroute.com . However, you have to get the IP first and there are a zillion of posts on this topic (why its bad, why stalking is wrong, why people's privacy matters and tentative how to's ) if you do a search...

Hey Coolguy...A little friendly advice...if you want to know where this girl lives..ASK HER!!!.. If she wants you to know she will tell you...if not, well... then it is none of your business.

As a female I can tell you if you go about getting that info by getting her IP address you come across as a stalker. And well...most women don't think that is a plus when looking at a guy for friendship (or more.) If she likes you and learns to trust you..she will tell you when she is ready. One week is not long...don't lose her trust before you have time to earn it..... give it time.. be a nice guy and wait for it to be freely given.

I don't think this guy is wanting to go knock on her door, i think he doesn't trust her, and wants a way of verifying she is who she says she is, believe it or not, people online on occasion do lie, LMAO, information is power, if i am seeking someones personal info, believe me it's not so i can go knock on their door, that's only a last resort lol, another thing i like doing is busting out chics with fake pics, it's amazing how u can come across the exact same pics on more then one profile and they live in different areas. I had a guy i pissed off one time, he said if he knew were i lived he would come beat me up, i pasted him my address, still waiting on him to show up, had another guy threaten me, asked for my address, so i gave it to him, said he was gonna come pay me a visit that weekend, he never showed, making an empty threat to me is pathetic, if ima go knock on someones door, im not gonna tell em, lol,

You people need to lighten up, yes even i draw an occasional line in the sand every once in a while, if some guy asked me to find out some info on someone, and also asked if i knew any good places to buy a gun, or anywhere to dump a decomposing body, then just maybe i would be a lil concerned, this is the internet, this isn't reality there is a big difference, everyone online is going to lie to either make themselves look better to others, or to protect some of their personal info, or who knows what else. I had one friend online that i thought was totally trustworthy, but i caught him in a lie, he's a good kid, would do anything i asked him to, and never wanted anything in return, but he did lie. Everyone is going to lie, it's just a matter of how much, and when they are online it magnifies and some people all they do is live lies.

Just my 2¢

OK....yeah...sometimes women have to lie b/c some freak has decided to become FIXATED on her...if one is online and does not know the person at the other end...I think even YOU Johnson, would agree that giving out all sorts of REAL personal info before you actually get to know the person is crazy. COME ON....that is STALKING behaviour whether it is for verification OR to find out financial info...OR WORSE...to turn them into one of those decomposing bodies you so flippantly mentioned. Have you not read the posts about women on here being stalked? And NETTI...I just about peed my pants...Smith&Wesson Johnson, have you not realized that you are not going to find a very sympathetic audience here when it comes to the IP issue?? Or is that why you post here, so you can get our ire up? Honestly....ENOUGH ALREADY!

*Closes Eyes* Why is it so bright so early?
