Invisible but still seen coming Offline!
Sometimes on Yahoo Messenger...my friends are seen as coming OFFline!!! But I never see them come ONline!!! I take it that they're invisible and when they log off some bug in Yahoo shows them coming offline. Surely being invisible means that people shouln't be able to see you come offline aswell! Does anyone know why this happens? And how do we stop it? I know that I've been seen by chat friends as coming offline when I'm invisible. I've checked the privacy box in my profile so no one should see me online if I'm playing games, or online in their address book or on any yahoo sites eg. groups etc. When I'm invisible..I wana stay Invisible!!
Mind you..at least I know when other people are invisible..haha

It happened again today!!..And I know that these friends of mine ARE invisible, coz mostly they go invisible..I still see them go Offline. And one time a friend pmed me while I was invisible and asked why they could see me go offline but they couldn't see my online status. It doesn't matter to me that people are invisible...but that means..when I'm invisible and when I log off, people can see that I have been online..This is so weird..

In my case, I can also see everyone in my list who is logging on "invisible" as them going offline. It just started yesterday. TO confirm this, I've asked 5 of my friends to log on their Messengers in "invisible" mode... and I see them going "offline" and when they log off, I also see them going offline... and three of them also noticed this happening to the buddies in their list...
something has definitely gone awry with Yahoo Messenger... |

For me it started yesterday and, as i have all my ID's in my pager when i login i can see myself online for about 1/10 of a second (basically i can see something yellow flashing in the right corner, that all) then the offline status message taking its place. Maybe a new "upgrade"? Sometime i wonder...Upgrade to what? Hell?

Yeah I have one of my profiles to my ID on my own list too. I too just these past few days have seen a note at bottom right saying Ive gone offline just as I get online as invisable. Also had this happen as Jon came online as invisable. (We both start off as invisable when we connect) SO what we are all seeing is a note of someone going offline BUT in actuallity they are just coming online in invisable mode. Ahhhh ever loving Yahell. *You know they call it Yahoo! cuz thats what we yell when and if it actually works right* lol *winks*

Oh my God..hello Everyone!! Yep! Thats what its is. When you log on as invisible, you are seen as Going OFFLINE. When I added my own ID to my friend's list..I saw myself as coming ONLINE for a few seconds even though I was invisible, none of my friends saw me coming online for a few seconds, BUT one friend saw me as coming OFFLINE then pmed me thinking I would see it as an offliner. Thaaaaaaaat means...this bloody bug in Yahoo..oh my god..when we see our chat friends logging off without seeing them first come on line, it means they have just logged on but are invisible! Jesus..I hope yahoo sort this out fast!! I was actually pmed by someone I was kind of avoiding..oh well..served me right I suppose!
