Lost Yahoo password recovered at last!

Guys on the list, could you hear me !!

Hello Johnson,Shifter,Aspirin,Oreo,FrutZle,

I heard someone saying that if you lost your Yahoo secret question & answer & also the alternate email id then your id is lost for good...

But but but lemme tell that somebody that its not lost, where therez a will therez a way out....so herez what you have to do to regain your password, its a bit of pain in the ass but its worth a take....

so here we go.....

Once you loose your password & the secret question & answer the first thing you have to do is send a mail to "sg-mail@yahoo-inc.com",bcuz mine is a singapore account i was able to send to the above mail id...if ur domain is different find out or send a mail to the above account & ask them.

once done they will reply back(gotta wait say about 2 weeks, be patient) & then they will come back with a few queries like ur Yahoo id,Zip/postal ,country, birthdate, alternate email, challenge question.

What you do is send the ones which you know but dont try to attempt or give a wrong answer for the ones which you have forgotten, put them as dunnoo ?? or say u forgot,

once done they will reply back sayin this info. not enuf & will ask you for more details like

1. your name
2. telephone number
3. copy of a photo ID (a clear photocopy of your NRIC - back and front)
4. Yahoo! ID
5. Permission for Yahoo! to enter your account
6. birthday on the account (mm/dd/yyyy)
7. zip/postal code and country
8. Your alternate email address (this cannot be a Yahoo! email address)
9. A description of the account (eg: names in the address book, folder
names, emails in the in/out box. Try to describe everything about the
account that makes it personal to you.

& you gotta furnish these details back to them on a hard copy duly signed to their fax number, b-cuz mine was a singapore domain i had to
fax it to

Fax no. : 65-6477-4547
Attn : Yahoo Customer care

Once done they will give a call to you just to find out if thats you or not.

Then they will reset your password to your IC No.

& BINGOOOOOO : ) .....howz this for a beer .....

see i told you guys never give up on hope....never say die deuds....forums should always give hope to people....whats in it if ur saying u lost your id for good.....

chalo phir....
am on my bike...lemme know if u need to know anything more on the www...

Ta...Ta..
n........a............v.................e......... ...............e........................n

The question has been asked repeatedly in multiple topics, with no indication of further answers. If members had simply stuck to using one thread, the posts would not have been locked. There are dozens of threads still open relating to this problem. If a post is locked, there is probably another with the same question not to far behind it, have a look and post in it if you do not wish to start a new one. I'm sorry if you find this "unfair", but we are trying our best to keep the Forums organized and easy to use. Since the question had already been asked in another Thread, I locked the topic. Its easier to find all the answers in one topic, than multiple answers in multiple topics. Know what I mean?

Anyway, if you (or anyone else for that matter) ever feel I have made an error in judgement at anytime, you are more than welcome to send me an email or IM from my listed info in my profile. Thanks

Shifter,

No worries,
Do what you think is good for the forum.

& ya it does makes sense for you to lock queries which are not gonna get good answers & moreover getting redundant.

no problems shift, thats cool stuff..

oky dokes thats from me then & bye for now.

cheers,

You'd have to be crazy to supply Yahoo with that kind of information. Seriously, that's an invitation for them to invade your privacy.
