Who has me blocked?????

I was curious so I downloaded this link. It looks like its an online status checker? Am I wrong? I don't get how it could check to see if you are blocked. You can check anyone's status simply by looking at their profile if they haven't checked the "online status" box. Am I being dumb here?

hence the whole note on the page saying

The butterfly image should change to one of the above status icons. If it shows the online icon and you've added the person to your contacts but he or she ISN'T listed as online, you can be sure you're being blocked by him or her!

how does that work with YIM Busybyeski? and marriettelarkin you can check a box in your preferences to show or not show your status if ya want in yahoo , besides the only person that cant see you is the one who has you blocked right? if you harass they will block, I know I would

That's the whole point I was trying to make. I didn't check anything in MSN because this is a Yahoo forum and I know that you can check the box to not show your online status, so I don't think it works in Yahoo if someone has that box checked.

it's ,cool marriette, I have that box checked and it works fine, it even works better with trillian on. besides, if a person needs that level of annoynimity, they should just get a new email accnt., and change everything.

yeah he could have always iggied you for many of reasons (constant mass pm's,stoped talking,lost interest,or just by accident.hit him up with a different name and ask.ive had to ignore many people on my buddy list caus eof all the stupid mass pm's.And hey be nice to browneyes I like her avatar picture. I've attempted using two yahoo "blocker" programs in the past and they never work. I've tested them with friends and it always gives a faulty answer so that's why I didn't suggest using one to Suzanne.

Thank you all for your help. Yes brown eyes, I wanted what roger gave me, although I think you were right about the online/offline thing. Thanks again to all that constructively commented.
My friend does have some health issues but was just on vacation again.

I want to check if one of my friend is online and just ignoring me. So I download the yahoo block checker. And I tried using the yahoo block checker with my own yahoo to see if the result will be accurate.The yahoo block checker showed that I am offline. Am I missing something in using the block checker

A lot of useless posts here if you ask me, no one seemed to notice how both users are always invisible, this is funny, i've always said invisble mode is stupid to use, if you both use invisible the only way to know if the other person is on is to message them, how stupid is that, for all you know this person has died, and since you both use invisible you may never know. That makes you're ? about two different things then, both of which are asked weekly over and over again time after time on this site, I suggest that shifter start two sticky threads, 1. how to tell if someone is on invisible, he can put some of the more basic ways of doing this right in the top part, I will throw in my 2 cents to it, and anyone else who has anything that's actually useful should as well, 2. he needs a sticky thread something like "how do I tell if someone blocked me" I will be more than happy to throw my 2 cents into this one as well
Over and over these ?'s are asked, and over and over they are never really answered, why post on a forum where people just ridicule you and never answer any of you're ?'s or try to be supportive? This isn't the place for it. I just thought of this, how about we start two threads about each of these subjects and we come up with the valid ways of approaching these 2 problems, and then shifter starts a sticky thread using the info? For now if you want an answer to either of these 2 problems suzanne, look back thru all the posts I have made, I have addressed these 2 issues like 5 times each lmao in the past few months. Hopefully we can start a sticky thread.
