Yahoo Messenger Voice Chat Problems
I am having a problem with the Yahoo voice conference feature. When I try to speak to someone, I can hear them, but all they can hear is a strange growling noise. I ran the Audio Setup Wizard, and the Conference test also made this strange noise. All of the other tests were fine. I have WinXP Pro, with SoundMax integrated audio. I have tried the following:
Reinstalled sound and network adapter drivers Disabled QoS Ran DXDIAG, and disabled sound acceleration got Microsoft Virtual Machine None of this helped. Thanks in advance for any help. |

I had a problem with yahoo and MSN voice and a buddy told me to do this and it worked I have windows xp pro...
Start....All programs,Entertainment,Volume Controls, under where it says mic,hit advance, at the bottom under other controls there are 2 options, 1 is 20dB boost and the 2nd is AGC.. I had both of those options checked marked, I unchecked the AGC, and im working great now! It only took me 7 months LOL Good luck I hope this helps, if you dont have those same options fool around with the ones that your have. ~TB~ |
