IM is showing me as NOT idle when I am?

For some reason, Yahoo IM is showing me as not idle intermittently, even when I KNOW I've been not even touching it in my system tray. My privacy settings aren't being used (I dont turn on invisible, or not to show me as idle, or anything like that).

But for example just this morning I turned on IM, but for the next hour nothing... and according to someone very special it appeared I was busy the whole time.

I just want to know if anyone can think of reasons why this would happen. Could my being connected over a wireless network cause my idle status to reset? What about screen savers? Anything?

I don't need to be told how to shorten my idle time setting, that will just show me idle more frequently but with short idle times if its resetting (which is just as bad), and I dont want to fake anything. I'm not trying to hide, in fact the opposite. I just want to know whether or not there is any kind of inaccuracy in IM idle status, or explanations why it would be wrong. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated, as I'm at my wits end.

is your do not show friends how long ive been idle checked .
and it is in my opinion being idle is bad lets a acker know your not at pc
