yea yahoo is out of beta...... messenger 1643 is out, its been out for a couple weeks.....but there is still problems....even a iframe exploit but I like VB's work......i like the old v5.6 feel.....also the abult chatrooms are still there......i just have the problem of having to go into a chat twice before it lets me in :P (i know its a problem with the program, not the servers)

i have made a final update on res_msgr.dll all the changes are listed below:

Added Emotions Function Back in View in the Chatroom *
Changed the Invite To View My Webcam in PM as this contained a bug that needed to be fixed @ Which when you invited a person to view your webcam it would invite somebody else you did not invite. This Function now is Working.

All Menu ( s ) in Chatrooms have all been updated to how they was in Yahoo Messenger 5.6 and are Functional. You can get this update at www.new--life.com/index.php or www.chat-help.co.uk I will add this version as V2 so you know what 1 your downloading or you can Email me from this board

What I've noticed about 6.0 menu's and chat subjects is for the most part they are all there.. just moved under a new catagory. it was mentioned that the adult chat has been removed. it has not. Its located under romance now. the main things that are missing are items under the pop-up menu over user names for webcam, and then the goto invite chat user. [addition] but anyway the point is most of the stuff is actually there. just moved. why they moved it around I dont know but yahoo chose to be Martha Stuart for spring cleaning. Kudos to VB for sharing the updated DLL file with everyone. I also noticed that the favorite rooms don't work, however. I haven't reverted to the old DLL -- I like the look and feel of v5.6 soo much better than v6 -- but it sure would be nice to have the favorite rooms work again. Any hope of a patch, VB? (Don't ya hate it when we just keep asking for more, more, more )

Want To Remove the help menu on YM 6?

Open up your regedit
start->run->regedit

And go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Yahoo\Pager\Profiles
Select Your User ID, and create a new DWORD Value Of:

No Help Menu

with 1 as the Value.

And There you have it, no more help menu...

Anyways. Is there anyways that yoiu can make it so the buttons in teh messenger windows are smaller or anything? Or atleast fix the smilies in the buddy list I they aren't as big.

Those are some of my major beefs with YIM6
