Yahoo Messenger 6.0 Menu ( s ) Updated

Yahoo have made changes to the Menu Functions this is what is missing in Yahoo Messenger 6.0 *

Buddy List Menu * Join User In Chat
User List Menu * View Webcam
Yahoo Messenger Window *Change User / Login

This is what has changed in 6.0

Start My Webcam* Has moved to the Messenger Menu
Messenger Window Tools Renamed to Contacts * Odd Stuff Removed

With the updated res_msgr.dll I have been working on which is 98 % Completed I have changed all the Menu Functions and Items back to how they were in Yahoo Messenger 5.6 but I have left all the new features there if anyone wants a copy of this DLL please contact me on vb_packets on Yahoo Messenger and ill send it to you. this is what you will need to do when you recieve the DLL.

1) Close Yahoo Messenger 6.0
2) Extract the file to the location as is @ Setup !
3) When it asks to replace the file Say Yes
4) relogin to Yahoo Messenger 6.0

I also hope to make a further Update on this also below are a few bugs which have been corrected .

Yahoo Messenger 6.0 Login Window Bug issue * This results in the Messenger Window crashing or Freezing up at Login or Disconnection !

Yahoo Messenger 6.0 Webcams was said to get freezed up . This resulted in a Loss of Packet Data !

Yahoo Messenger 6.0 Chatroom Window . Failed to Contact Yahoo Chatroom which you wanted to Enter * This Bug is still being Updated !

Any Questions or anything about the New Yahoo Messenger 6.0 feel free to knock me up on Yahoo ill reply to your messages when I am at the computer! Also if theres anything in Messenger that needs correcting let me know also!

ok I have completed the DLL.

What Else was Missing ?

Buddy List Menu * Copy To Group
Buddy List Menu * Move To Group
IM Window Menu * Format Menu Missing with All the Missing Font Functions
IM Window * View Profile in Friends Menu

I have Re Added all this back so PM me some time and ill send you the Required DLL. Also where Chet Simpson has added the Chat Menu in the main Messenger Window that is no longer there as I have now Fixed that problem and put the Main Menu Back and renamed all the Menu's back to their Defaults we still have all our new features Inclusive I havent disabled nothing there but I will make it Optional soon to remove LaunchCast Radio.

A further update was made for the Chatroom User List Window * I have made it Wider so it allows you to see the Full ID of the User in the User List Window. I will see what other Changes need to be made for a updated build of this DLL . I could not believe how lazy Yahoo was at adding Functions back which was important to Chat Users. Now I have made these modifications that makes us all happy.

This will not interfear with any of them. We are not talking about incompatability issues here this is just a Updated * DLL to re add all those Menu Functions back that was lost in the current version. I have tested Both Y Tunnel and Yahoo Messenger 6.0 Build 1643 and there dont seem to be a incompatability issue. It is different if you make a Program which may contain a incompatability issue with your machine or another program. Yahoo have also stopped some non important Menu Functions from working there for they will be removed. and not added to 6.0. all the Menu's now are getting renamed back to what they were in 5.6. The room login problem people are currently experiencing is because of Resource Drainage and users not being able to make a comunication to the Yahoo Server!!!

I just wanted to say that this dll of VB's does work.. I went to Vb for the dll concerned and was impressed, by this I mean his reassuarance on what the dll did and what he was trying to do with it.. ( give it a yahoo 5.6 feel in terms of what was missing ie its functions ) I downloaded the exe he sent to me and follewed his instructions which was very simple... and once I installed it and run yahoo 6 messenger again I could immediately see the changes he had made..

Once again it is recommended for people who like yahoo 6 but crave for the touch and feel of 5.6 a must .. and again thankyou for the help and time VB tis appreciated.

I still see all the rooms in yahoo messenger including adult and I think it is out of beta testing. Check out the messengers homesite. Maybe I am mistaken? :\
