yahoo mail problem

I cannot seem to figure out what is wrong with my yahoo mail. I login, but it just time-outs on me. I can't even get to my mail to see it. This had been going on for at least 24 hours.

What is the problem and what should I do?

i have had the same exact problem going on two days now. I thought I was the only one! its driving me crazy. im wondering if theres problems only with certain accounts because friends have told me they havent had a problem.

I've not had a problem with timing out.....i've had the problem of deleting old messages. It wont let me delete any mail that i've read.

anyone else having problems? I still cant log in. Logs into yahoo messenger fine though.

Just curious but whats your isp tamac?

weird... ive managed to get in by going to my calender through messenger and then clicking over to my mail. it seems like only certain links work and others dont. may have something to do with the way yahoo routes its links through us.rd.yahoo.com.

ive confirmed that only comcast users are affected, specifically ones in NJ and surrounding states. so if your a comcast user and having problems with websites, especially yahoo, there is a thread open over at the forums. log-in using your email and password.

My Zone Alarm settings had Cookie Control really high and before turning it off I would get the same problem with yahoo mail telling me my session had expired so maybe it has something to do with cookies as well. Just a thought.

My ''addresses'' link times out, plus some people sent me mails that I never received and they're not blocked!

I'm having the same problem that just started last night. I can not login to yahoo mail or anything on the yahoo website, but I can login to yahoo messenger and send and receive messages there. When I try to login to via the web, I get an "Invalid Password" but I know it's correct because I can login using Yahoo Messenger.

Update: I tried logging in going to the My Yahoo page and that login worked and then I was able to get to my mail and what's weird is then Outlook Express was also able to login and download my mail. I tried to go to the My Account page and received a page with the following msg:

Unfortunately, there is a server problem preventing access to this page. We are working on this problem, and functionality will be restored as soon as possible. Please try again in 10 minutes.
Try login again.

So, it definitely appears to be a problem on yahoo's end.
