Reactivate Yahoo Email

I have a username on Yahoo, I use to get onto Messanger, before that that user name used to be one of my email addresses, of which most of my AIM screen names were registered. I use another yahoo email address for my email usage. But since I had not used this other account for four months, being that I had no need for it. It became inactive. Now when I sign into my Email account under that alalis, it says it is inactive, blah blah blah, isn't there a way to reactivate the E-Mail account? Other parts of the account I still do use.

As far as I know, on Yahoo you cannot reactivate the account. But can't you just create another account under the same name? Surely if Yahoo have cancelled your locked account, then this name will be available again? I'm not 100% sure how it works. If you had no use for the account for 4 months, it surely can't be that desperate?

Also, please do not double post. I know I am not a moderator, but if people do have an answer to your question, then they will get back to you in good time. It just saves time for the moderators, as they have less posts to oversee.

Thankyou.

I'm not sure why you're unable to reactivate your Yahoo! account. Had it been numerous of years since you last used the account?

I had two Yahoo! accounts that I hadn't used since 1997 and 1999 and had the accounts reactivated late in 2003 with no problems.
