Can anyone tell me how I get to DOS and how I type in the netstat command to see an IP of who I am talking to on yahoo messenger?

If you have Windows XP , go to start run type in cmd, then when the dos window appears you type netstat ..

If you are talking to someone on messenger your ip will appear with 5050 after it whoever you are talking to will be 5051 ...

    Good luck

For a more precise netstat, if you have windows xp sp2, use the following command

    netstat -b -v

or if you want to dump it to a log file type

    netstat -b -v >> C:\netstat.txt

now I see the woman that has been talking to me is the same jerky guy that has been bothering me online for months. I own a yahoo group and have kicked him out of it numerous times. he just keeps making profiles and joining.
