You can download [url"http://www.ytunnelpro.com"]YTunnelPro[/url]. It's a very good program against such attacks.

Does anyone know how to contact at Yahoo to permenately stop hackers and booters? I don't go into chat rooms, I do however play spades and each and everytime I get attacked by booters or hackers I have had virus's the last booter had 13 id's that he used to cheat and boot me with mass im's here is the list for all to beware of playing with healing_garden_02/healing_garden_38/carnal_sinner_02/carnal_sinner_09/carnal_sinner_11/outonyourass/outonyourass7/gotspades20032003/ph_fuk_i_am_set/boost_r_us/sadie87821061/matts_an_asshole/kirssy_is_all_mine/y_r_all_women_l3itches/bid_dady27/ I looked up his game history and he sits in rooms with two other clones and boots some poor idiot to get a win! what do I have to do to get yahoo to take some action here? I am seriously thinking of starting a antiyahoo site I am so frustrated all you ever get from them is a auto response I have their phone number for the headquarters in California. Just looking for somebody to tell me who to talk to to get yahoo to enforce their own policies!

Like they say you get what you pay for. There is no way of totally stopping booters/hackers every program is man made they will always have bugs and there will always be people who are frustrated and will do things in the cyber world which they would never dare to do in the real world sorry to tell you but it can not be helped

lalaz, have you put those names on ignore? Kron is correct, there is no way to stop all of the booters, but there are things you can do to help reduce the likelihood of being booted. Put the people who have booted you on ignore, disable PMs and turn off invites.

Yahoo does not offer telephone support for its free services, so if you are thinking of calling, I can tell you from experience you will probably be on hold a long time only to be told to check the help pages. They get 1.5 million pieces of e-mail a month, so one can understand their reasons for using an autoresponse.

I wanted to say Thank You to however suggested disabling all invites and conversations inside of the games this worked again today I was in a room and my screen blinked and blinked but didn't get booted! lol I realise it is a lost cause I am just shocked that yahoo (who is desperatly trying to playwith the big boys) overlooks and allows hackers free access to their consumer base it's almost as if they round you up offer free games and entertainment and the say here ya go boys! all in one place (you have to disable firewalls at least partially to get yahoo) hopefully somebody does do something proactive against yahoo lmao(maybe a mass class action suit for time and aggravation!) I have thought about setting up a site to allow people that have recieved no response or help from yahoo to email their sponsos and let them know they are switching sites do to yahoo being a unsafe browsing site! yahoo may not listen to individuals but they have to listen to their advertisers! gonna think on that somemore! thanks for the help though! anybody with anymore thoughts on how to force some action out of yahoo let me know.

Actually yahoo is not a bad site. They do fix bugs quiet fast now a days. But then there are just some things you can not change and I do not think yahoo make you any more vunerable than any other site.

PMs = Private Messages, that is what IMs were originally called
