Only way to get into someone else's webcam is by sending a trojan to the intended camera host.So I will suggest to try all your security programs or serach for some good one on the net that will find this.I usually recommend this one http://www.emsisoft.com/en/ btw there is a program out there that let people do this I know it,but I don't use it cuz I am not interesting in spying on my contacts and I don't cam with anybody.

It is a flaw in yahoo cam permission settings.
This is what you have to do.
Change your pw into something tough to crack like a word+numbers with upper and lower case letters
In your yahoo pref change the permission to deny everyone. That should stop him
Try it out and let us know if it works.
Good luck

P.S:- If he/she has written the trojan/spyware then a anti virus will not pick it up.

Skinytwo, currently yahoo messenger 6's webcam doesn't have any flaw and it is not necessarily mean your computer is clean just because anti-spywares/virus said so. Also there are no programs that allow someone to view your webcam without you accepting it.

It is possible to fix your problem, it's just requires a lot of time because he might have something hidden in your computer. If you have enough time and skill, back up everything on your computer and re-format your computer. Re-install Windows from scratch, and re-install only software you are sure to be clean. Use ZoneAlarm; disable Windows Firewall because Windows Firewall has flaws in it and also do update to SP2. Password protect your computer so you are the only one using it.

After you had done all that with a clean computer, ask him to see what you are doing on your webcam again, see if he can do it without sending you anything =)

Well, that software is a myth. It's just not possible. You do realize by visiting such sites and attempting to run such software you put yourself at a major malware risk, right?

Bottom line, webcam viewers without permission don't exist.

I agree, and if you still itch to install this kind of crap, then you deserve the consequences.

At the time of this post as you will see (2005) it was possible to see cameras on yahoo without permission by using a duff cookie exploit which at the time was reported to yahoo and patched.

Now (2008) it is not possible to view webcams on yahoo without permission.
