If you mean importing your Yahoo! Messenger contact list into your AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) Buddy List, you cannot. Yahoo screen names are not the same as AIM screen names. This is because the two instant messaging programs are not interoperable.
If you want to use AIM to send instant messages to your contacts, they will also need to use AIM (or a compatible alternative). The best you can do in that case is contact your friends and ask them to tell you their AIM screen name, and you can add them one at a time. |
