Bot Challenge in Ytunnel?

I looked at my event logger because someone messaged me, and I wanted to check their profile, and when I looked at it, there was this message from earlier today.

12:39:39 am: BLOCKED PM: XXXXX: hi
12:39:45 am: BOT Challenge: Waiting for 'XXXXXX' to enter their passphrase. 3 tries remaining
12:40:10 am: BLOCKED PM: XXXXX: kmp9mk
12:40:13 am: BLOCKED PM: XXXXX: kmp9mk
12:40:14 am: BLOCKED PM: XXXXX: kmp9mk
12:40:16 am: BLOCKED PM: XXXXX: kmp9mk
12:41:08 am: First private message from 'XXXXX' ignored. It contained a "buzz"!

I've been running ytunnel pro for a while now, and have never had something ask for a "passphrase" and have never seen a "BOT Challenge" before, what is going on with this???

This was another message I saw on there:

10:45:26 pm: BOT Challenge: Waiting for 'XXXX' to enter their passphrase. 3 tries remaining
10:45:27 pm: BLOCKED IP ADDRESS: XXXX: want to see your buddy's cool new im icon? go to http://buddies.funbuddyicons.com/?zuxdm082yyus@[fwpscript]version:01.03.00.08|rsvp|icon:none@[/fwpscript]
10:45:39 pm: BOT Challenge: Waiting for 'XXXX' to enter their passphrase. 2 tries remaining
10:46:13 pm: BOT Challenge: 'XXXX' entered the correct passphrase.
10:46:31 pm: BLOCKED PM: XXXX:

Obviously the second person knew what a passphrase was, and knew the correct one, but after all the account stealing going on, I'm reluctant to ask them what it is, I haven't talked to them in a while, and I'm not sure if that is them, or someone that stole their account.

Can someone please clue me in to what is going on here?

Ok, actually this is a security feature. This is what happens when I try to pm someone. I will say "hi", and a reply comes back that says, Please enter the following passcode: 8ud7w26zx. It will give you 3 chances to enter it correctly. If you DO answer correctly it will send the pm thru to ytunnel and blink at the bottom of your screen to let you know you have incoming messages. If they fail to enter the passcode, it automatically puts them in the iggy bin. This is a confirmation that the person pm'ing you is not a bot, which of course they wouldn't be able to answer.

The passcode is irrelevant, it just is proof to show that the person pm'ing you is a REAL person, and not a bot.

OK, and for you people who are going to come back and say "Bots are real people and need love to", BITE ME!!! lmao LOL

I gotcha...I think.

Why hasn't it ever done this before? And why don't I get that when I message someone that I know has ytunnel, and doesn't have me on their list?

More confused than ever,
Precious

I don't ever ever click links in chat rooms, and the only way I'll click one in a pm is if I've been talking to the person for a while. I've seen people get their ID's yanked from them faster than they could sneeze because of these links.

And those links weren't what I was referring to....but thanks for the reminder anyway.

Precious

ytunnel is the most over paranoid program to date and will ignore the least thing.
