Need help with webcam on Yahoo messenger

Can someone please help me get my webcam working on Yahoo messenger? I sent the following message to Yahoo customer care today, but they did not help me whatsoever.

"I have created an exception in the
Windows firewall to allow ingoing and
outgoing TCP connections from Yahoo. I
have also tried disabling the firewall
altogether, but Yahoo messenger still
keeps saying that I "appear to be
behind a firewall" and that I
am "currently unable to use the Yahoo
webcam service."

Are you behind a proxy server or you connect to the internet directly?

how did you set your Y!M to connect to the internet?
