Hi,
I have had that problem before in the past but it only seems to happen with voice in conference. I tend to think that it is some kind of error connecting to Yahoo's voice servers. If i would be signed on to Yahoo, cpu usage would normally be between 2% and 6%. Then as soon as I'd create a conference, it'd jump to 100%. and, if i disable voice in the conference, its go back to normal. but then after about 15 min.s or so, it'd go back to normal. I really don't know what causes it, it doesn't seem to follow any type of pattern. I tried writing yahoo about it, and of course, no answer. =) later E |

Just a quick update on this one. In the end I re-installed XP and everything else on the PC (hard drive had failed
). Unfortunately yahoo is still the same; with voice only CPU is 60 - 85% CPU, but if I start the webcam it pushes that up to 100% and it still kinda works, but it becomes slow to respond and the webcam is slow to update. It's a shame because I like Yahoo.

hey! i had also encountered this problem... try this and hopefully may help you. fisrt, you will uninstall your Yahoo!messenger and other related programs from yahoo. restart your computer ang delete Yahoo! folder on your system (located at C:/program files). delete this folder and try to download this version of yahoo by clicking this link:
http://mirrors.pro-hoster.co.uk/free..._7.0.2.120.exe this is an application which you can install even if you are offline. also save that exe for future use. after doing all this by myself, i have 30% YPager on standby mode and gets 55% to 58% when using the PC to PC call. i hope this may help regards!!!
