YM 8 Ignore List Not Functioning
Hi there I dont know about anyone else, but it appears my YM 8 Beta ignore list is not working. I had at least 3 people on my list send me pms. I even changed my setting on my pref. to ignore anyone not on my friends list, this also doesnt work. Is this issue happening to anyone else? Thanks for the feedback

Hello Enders.
May I ask if you've had not only OFFLINE messages from them (i.e. received as you login) or also online PMs, sent/received when you were already online ?

Ok, well that rules out one possible quirk in the Ignores system.
So sorry, I've no idea. As far as I know the Ignores work fine on MY YM8, though I haven't specifically tested that.

I hope someone else might have some suggestion or comment.

Ok I did an uninstall and reinstall. I've come to see by using another ID that the ignore function is working, but only temporarily. If I iggy my other test ID during the session, I will no longer recieve messages. Yet, when I log out and come back in it no longer recognizes that I've ignore my other ID and will again accept messages.

Beyond that, the ignore anyone not on my list preference is completly not functioning in any way shape or form on YM 8.

Does yahoo even care anymore?

Remember, Y!M 8 is still in beta, so you can't fault Yahoo for still having bugs in the software. Have you tried going back to Y!M7.5 to see if your ignore settings work in the last stable release?

Ive installed 7.5 and Im still having the same issues. I am officially stumped
