Ok I uninstalled Yahoo and redownloaded it, it downloaded the files threw the downloader but didn't install them WTF

Another posting newbie here. Been following this thread since it began. I can finally log into Y!Messenger again. My email had been fine all along, but I think I must'[ve de/reinstalled at least the last hundred versions of Y!M yesterday and last night before I remembered to come here and check.

Well, it is 7:30 am, ET, Sunday July 23. Everything -- Yahoo, My Yahoo, Yahoo Mail, and YM 7.5 -- are ALL working this morning here in west coast of Florida, USA!!!!
I had also reinstalled YM7.5 once - but reinstalled over my existing YM7.5 without uninstalling anyhting. Looks like that did not do any damage, if anything it appears to have speeded up the sign-in process.

But a new problem might be creeping up. I generally go to the web using my Firefox Mozilla 1.5. This morning when I open two copies of Mozilla, it is having an error and closing it down!

Else, all is OK here. Just reporting to let all know.

Well that is interesting, seems as if it came up around 12 AM EST or so? Interesting how Yahoo doesn't tell us anything at all. Also, MySpace.com is back up. That one thing you found on a blog Ian is interesting, I wish we would get told stuff

You are absolutely right E_K!!! I got up around 7:00 and my YM is working just fine - may be a little better/faster at 7:30 am.

POINT -- nothing can be that BAD that a GOOD NIGHT's sleep can't cure!!!!

yes well, i stayed up until i was able to get on messenger and into a chatroom -- then i promptly fell asleep while still in the chatroom
