How can you tell if Super webcam is running

How can you tell if super webcam is running?
Both machines Yahoo vs 8
Dlink Router port 5100 open on sending side.
Windows firewall turned off (while testing, to eliminate this possible problem).

You can usually tell by the speed of the movement of frames on the cam.

Webcams basically take frames of JPEG images and stream them.

You can check the cam statistics and it will tell you what and how many frames you're sending.

Super webcam is no longer controlled by the user it is now done all one yahoo servers. You can control the frame rate a little by the slide bar in webcam preferences move slide between faster speed and better quality.

My statistics for useing the slidebar:

best quality - 1 frame a second
Faster speed - 3 frames a second

I leave it in the middle at 2 frames a second

Forget about it if you have a dialup connection. I have dsl at 1.5 mbps, If you have a faster connection I would imagin the framerate would be faster.
