Yahoo Messenger is not working

Hi,

I am continuously getting the following error in yahoo logs while logging in yahoo messenger:

2006/12/12 13:18:13.843[THRD:5748] [NETL] Error - On: Failed on HttpSendRequest, restart. The error code is 12002
2006/12/12 13:18:13.894[THRD:5748] [NETL] Error - On: Post to client: ntype=503, nstatus=0

Does anyone know about this ??

What connection settings do you have your yahoo messenger set to login with?

It seems you're trying to login with firewall no proxies and it cannot connect via port 80

Try changing it to no proxies or no network detection and see if you get the same error.

I tried all the options but it is not working, it keeps showing me yahoo smilee "signing in as <yahooID>. During this time If someone is sending me a message I can receive and send the message.
