I have tried different rooms. I can see that people are tryng to talk back to me as the sound bar is movng. But, I can't hear them.

Yes, the volume control is all the way up. I've tested the volume by simply playing an MP3.

Yes, I can talk into the microphone and watch the display move but when i play it back, I don't hear a thing.

On Vista your mixer controls the volume of mulitple programs. You could conceivably play an MP3 just fine but Yahoo would have no sound. Open your sound mixer and verify Yahoo is not muted r turned down.

On the call setup did you make sure that you selected the correct speakers for your setup? If you're using a headset and those aren't your default speaker you need to select the appropriate ones.

Did you check for any updates to your Realtek on the manufacturer's website?
