Well, the 0 with the beep means you have zero listeners. You have to have listeners when keying up.

soundcard issue
hi there, i have a HP G60-535DX laptop it has windows 7 home premium on it , i have a build in mic, and speakers , my sound card is Conexant Pebble High Difinition Smartaudio, both mic & speakers are running on same soundcard, i have yahoo messenger 10.0.0.1102 version, now on my volume control options, under the recording devices, i have both show disabled devices an disconnected devices checked, as same with on the playback devices also, now both devices only shows my speakers an mic an nothing else..now when i go into a chatroom, my voice works fine, but when i try to play music using my mic, people telling me it sounds static, like the sound is hollow coming in like in a background? i have no idea what could be doing it when i play music in a room, i did the call setup thingy an everything works.. so i dont know why when i play music in a chatroom, people say it sounds static?
