Tomsbbb I'm sorry you've not been well. We'll look forward to hearing how it's going.
I'll be off and on YH much of the weekend, if you'd like we can try and troubleshoot it. I'm on Vista, and have another contact who will be on in the evenings (eastern standard time) who also uses Vista, and is great at troubleshooting voice issues (especially if it means he gets the chance to speak with someone new using a mic!)
You can PM me and let me know if you wish to try to arrange this. My YH ID is shown here. I'd be glad to try and help you out.

You solved it for us, when you mentioned, Run yahoo as Administrator, that did the trick. It seems pc to pc will not work on this vista unless you do it that way! Thank You Very Much, Tom
Yea, I'll have to make another tutorial soon about Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Vista. One would think Yahoo would make it where it automatically gains an elevation of permissions on Vista.
The way to make it always run as an administrator is to right click on the Yahoo! Messenger desktop shortcut, go to Properties, then go to the Compatibility tab and select the bottom checkbox, "Run this program as an administrator".
