How to know someone is invisible AND read their status?

Sorry if title misleads...

What I meant is, I'd like to know if people are online but invisible (many resources for this, f.ex Xeeber and h**p://opi.yahoo.com/online?u=YahooID&m), AND I can read what their message status is (can't find about this anywhere).

Example:
John in online, and his message status is "You're hot!".
But he's invisible to me.

So how can I find out whether he's online AND read the "You're hot!" status?

Thank you for the info.

Hello and welcome to BBB! I can't answer your question...but...if someone has chosen to show as invisible to contacts, then they've probably done so for a reason.

I know sometimes when I want to have a quiet game online with someone, I may choose only to show visible to them and I put a status up to let them know that. If anyone were able to just go see that - it would kind of defeat the purpose eh?

It's a privacy thing. But to answer your question, tho there are a few ways of determining if they're online that may or may not work, I don't know of any that will let you see their status changes if they are invisible to you.

Heh, you can only get the online status of a user, and their display picture. However, you can't get their statuses since you have to be on a person's buddy list to see them in the first place.

thanks for Doris and Venom...
and thanks for the warm welcome

I truly understand about privacy and such, but apparently, some not very decent person, use invisible and then put on some nasty message status to the people they're invisible to.
It's just making me itch ...lol
Triggering my curiousity

Well, it's not quite an important issue...but again, it makes me wonder if there's such tool to override invisibility and read their status...

Thanks again for your info.

As Venom has stated there is no work around to seeing someones
status message. The status message are sent by the Yahoo Server
based on the fact if you are on their buddy list. So the only work
around is to have control over the Yahoo Server and only Yahoo
has control over it.

hi, thanks for your info...

i've tried yahoospy.net but still it can't even tell the difference between online, on sms, and mobile... so it's just the same result we get from opi link ( h**p://opi.yahoo.com/online?u=USERNAMEHERE&m ), and yet, i think this link is much simpler
