How do I save and view chinese character using Yahoo Messenger?

im having a problem with yahoo messenger and you guys answers will be greatly appreciated.

im able to type chinese and see chinese when im on a conversation, but when it comes to changing of nicks and viewing other people's nick, it will turn to symbols like AA~ and ???? . is there anyway that i can change it?

besides that, when i save a conversation log of chinese, im not able to view it and everything in chinese turns AAAAAAAAAAA~~~~ haha.. yep. is there any way i can solve all these problems?

by the way, im using window XP.
i got no problem with the rest of the softwares.. not even msn. only yahoo got this problem. and the weird part is ... conversations can be conducted in chinese.

Are you changing the Nickname in your browser?

Could be a unsupported character set on a specific browser

Maybe have to enable international text input

Go to Control Panel, Regional Language, Advance Language, change the language to Chinese PRC, reboot and next time you will see the chinese nickname in chat room instead of AAAA.

There are 2 tabs consist of language. It has to be the 3rd tab "Advance Language", not the language in the first tab.

i know.i change to chinise PRC and restart the computer.but it didnt works.
