Endless messenger list requests at after sign in

When I sign in, I immediately get a 'add to messenger list request' from .cn email address. I click 'do not allow this person to add me'and then 'ignore all future messages from this person' and then I immediately get another request from another .cn address.....and on and on and on endlessly.

What's going on? How do I stop this?

My suggestion would be to use a companion program with Yahoo! Messenger. Try YTK Lite, it's free and works wonders. YTK Lite : The Anti-Boot Protection and Functional Enhancements for Yahoo Messenger.

I have read somewhere that if you change your profile to "adult" this helps because the spammers have to log in before sending the im.

I was under the impression that Yahoo did away with adult-oriented profiles.
