Missing dynamic link library MSVCR80.dll

Hello! I have been having a problem when installing yahoo messenger. The same message keeps popping up when I am in the process of installing, and after I have installed Messenger. When I try to open messenger this message pops up and does not let me open Messenger:

Unable To Locate DLL : The dynamic link library MSVCR80.dll could not be found in the specified path C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger;.;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINN T\system;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\WI NNT\system32\WBEM;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\.

Does anybody know what is causing this or how it can be fixed??! If it is of any help, I'm using Windows 2000 due to that the computer i'm trying to use Messenger on is of about 4 years ago and with very low ram so as to I can only use it for so much. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
