The voice issues are probably Y!Tunnel related (especially if you have the voice anti-boot option on) since Y!Tunnel does some pretty nasty things with the RTP audio connection in chat rooms; e.g. disregarding RTP packets which is a major no-no which can lead to voice chat loss. I'd try running Messenger 9 alone and see if this occurs.
As for the system tray icon remaining, that usually means the YahooMessenger.exe process is still running. Open up Task Manager, go to the Processes tab, and end the task of YahooMessenger.exe to make it fully exit. This *may* be Y!Tunnel related as well. In fact, for this one I'd also try Messenger 9 without Y!Tunnel (since Y!Tunnel isn't compatible with the last 3 Yahoo! Messenger v9.0 builds) and see what happens. ![]() Running both programs as an administrator could help in this situation too. If they turn out to be Y!Tunnel issues, I'd suggest visiting their website and their community forums and let them know what's happening. ![]() Hope this helps! ![]() Michael My Blog/Website | My Photography Yahoo!
