Compatible camera, black screen
Just downloaded Yahoo Messenger (9.0.0.2112).
I have a Logitech Quickcam E3500 (which is YM compatible according to both Logitech and YM). It works and is properly connected: I can view the cam's video using QuickCam and other applications. The rooms is well lit. My Webcam video shows as a black screen in YM when viewed by me or others. So ... I've pretty much tried and checked everything the YM help pages suggest. Any advice?

There is an IE page where you can test if your cam works with yahoo messenger:
help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messenger/messenger8/webcam/mstatestcamie(dot)html of course put the http thing in front of it,i can't post properly the link because of the required min 10 posts

Black screen usually means the webcam isn't compatible (even though it says it is, it isn't).
