Strange problem when on a video call on Yahoo Messenger
Hi All,
I am currently using Yahoo Messenger 9.0.0.2162. When I send a webcam invite and start talking to a friend, everything works fine and he can look at my image. But after a minute or so, my image on his system automatically disappears and my friend can see his own image as viewed from his webcam in my webcam window. Its quite strange. I have reinstalled various versions of messenger but still getting d same problem. I get no such problems in viewing his webcam but only he does. Please help..

Send a message via Yahoo to patndoris
Video on Yahoo has been notoriously flaky for quite awhile. It's more than likely a yahoo problem and nothing you are going to be able to do anything about. You might try a program like Windows Live Messenger or Skype. Skype is generally quite consistent and reliable for video calls.

Yahoo! are currently re-doing their Video/Call system for Yahoo! Messenger 10 that will have Video and Call like skype/msn as an option.

However when it will be officially released is unknown.
