malware wouldn't effect yahoo messenger unless it's like smiley packs or messenger related.
Messenger is built to detect no flash or java so that shouldn't effect it either, i would say it's something else in the system prefrably internet explorer as messenger relies heavily on it. NOD32 wouldn't effect it either as messenger as default doesn't use any anti virus unless told to. Are you using any skinning programs?, or tried adding or removng skins?, are you a limited user on the pc? Most crashes would turn to these causes as either messenger can't write or read from its many xml or data files and just takes a fit and whites out. Irish Gaming - 1000+ Games and climbing! |

re: Dermot
I also think that there may be something with internet explorer.
I'm using Firefox 3.0.13 as browser. I don't know what's a skinning program. I'm Computer administrator user. May be that there is some xml that can't be writed, but how can I find that. Did some one know where logs for Yahoo Messenger can be find? And, I repeat the strange thing that happens: all the mess' windows get inactive and can do anything, but the messenger is still working in background, because if I execute right click on sistray icon there appear all messages in popups. |
