Cannot load Resource Dll.- Error on yahoo messenger

Hello Friends,

I am facing a serious issue with yahoo messenger (10.0.0.1102-us).
I am using Windows Vista basic.
I can use yahoo messenger in one of my windows user account (administrator account).
But I am not able to open yahoo messenger in the other windows user account, I am getting the error message as "Cannot load Resource Dll."

Tried reinstalling the messenger and used ccleaner to clear all the cache..

Please let me know how can I fix this issue.

I get the exact same error.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Or is it just recommended that I go back to YM 9?

Hello All and Thirtha Sarkar...

I could not find the proper solution for this anywhere in the net, bigblueball and also in yahoo answers...

But I have resolved this issue myself....

Here is the steps to overcome this issue...

1. Delete Yahoo folder from C:\Program Files or D:\Program Files
2. And uninstall Yahoo by going to Control Panel--> Add and Remove Programs (in XP), Control Panel\Programs and Features (in Vista)
3. Go to regedit. (open "run" command (Win+r and type regedit and enter)
4. And follow the path- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Yahoo
5. Delete the 'Yahoo" registry entry on the left pane (i.e. the Yahoo folder)
6. Do the same by going to all the windows user accounts..
7. And install any version/latest Yahoo Messenger...

This should resolve "Cannot load Resource Dll" issue..

Please provide your feedback...once it is resolved...
