How to delete offline contact???

I have a long list of ym contacts which never come online and I am unable to delete them from yahoo messenger when they are offline. Online contacts I can right click and delete. Offline contacts I right click to delete, but it does not delete. I have also tried to go through Yahoo Mail Web based messenger, but that does not seem to even show offline contacts, only online contacts. Please help, I really want to get rid of many old contacts from messenger which I am no longer in contact with and they always appear offline, so I can't remove them. What is the secret trick for removing offline contacts?

You need to not delete so many in a row, you are sending a particular packet to yahoo to delete.

if you send more then 3+ in a short time, the server will ignore future requests for up to 24 hours.

You can also remove yourself off their list via a buddy deny program.

interesting. Do you know what the timeframe is? I have many accounts I need to delete now

not positive on exact time, but i'd say delete 3 every half hour or so to be sure.
